With Orioles starting pitcher Daniel Cabrera having allowed 15 runs during the first inning of 18 games -- and closer George Sherrill having allowed only 16 runs in 38 mostly one-inning appearances -- an easy solution appears to be at hand.
Why not let Sherrill start the first inning of games, then bring in Cabrera to pitch the final eight? (NOT!!!)
